ForgeFeed Studio ("we") runs FeedForge Studio, a web app that helps you find trends and create, schedule and publish posts to your Instagram professional account and articles to your own WordPress site. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your FeedForge account: name, email, optional company name, and a securely hashed password.
- Instagram (through Meta): when you connect an account we receive an access token and your account's profile (username, name, picture, follower and post counts), your recent posts and their captions, and insights such as reach, likes, comments, saves and shares. With your action we publish posts to your account. To show real examples next to trends we also look up public top posts for hashtags and recent public posts of other business or creator accounts; these are shown with a link to the original and only kept briefly.
- WordPress (optional, Blog Studio): your site address, WordPress username and an Application Password you create in WordPress, stored encrypted; your site's name, categories and tags, and your recently published posts. With your action we create, update, schedule or publish posts and upload featured images on your site. Disconnecting deletes the saved password; you can also revoke it in WordPress under Users → Profile → Application Passwords.
- AI keys (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI): the API keys you provide, stored encrypted. Prompts we send with them contain your brand profile, post or article text and, when you choose, images or brand documents.
- Google Drive or Dropbox (optional): read-only access to the folder you pick for your brand image bank: file names and the images themselves.
- Content you create: drafts, versions, captions, hashtags, generated images and schedules.
- Payments: handled by PayPal. We store your PayPal subscription ID and status, never your card or bank details.
- Technical data: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and server logs (IP address, time, request) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
Only to provide the service you ask for: showing your account, discovering trends, generating content with your own AI key, publishing and scheduling posts, showing insights, billing, and security. We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or use your content to train AI models.
Who we share it with
- Meta / Instagram, to read your account and publish what you choose.
- Your WordPress site (run by you or your host), to send the articles you choose.
- The AI provider(s) whose key you connect, using your key, to generate text and images: Google (Gemini API), Anthropic (Claude API, text and web search only) and/or OpenAI (API, text, web search and images). Each processes your prompts under its own API terms and bills you directly.
- Google Drive or Dropbox if you connect them.
- PayPal for subscriptions; our email provider to send account emails.
- Google Cloud hosts the app and stores data (Firestore and Cloud Storage, region europe-north1).
Google user data
FeedForge's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Drive access is read-only, limited to choosing a folder and reading its images to use as your brand references, and is never used for advertising or shared with others except as described above.
How long we keep it
While your account is active. If you cancel, we keep your workspace for 14 days so you can come back, then delete it. If you delete your account, everything is deleted immediately and connected Google Drive and Dropbox access is revoked. Published Instagram posts stay on Instagram.
Your choices and rights
- Disconnect Instagram, Google Drive, Dropbox or any AI key at any time in Settings.
- Delete your account and all data in Settings → Plan & billing, or follow these steps.
- Ask for a copy or correction of your data, or ask questions, at legal@feedforgestudio.com.
Security
Access tokens and API keys are encrypted at rest; connections use HTTPS; access to your workspace requires your password.
Children
FeedForge is not intended for anyone under 18.
