Getting started

What is FeedForge Studio?

A studio for your brand's social content. It finds what is trending in your niche right now, then writes and designs Instagram posts, carousels, Reels and stories in your brand's voice, and schedules and publishes them. With Blog Studio it also writes full articles and sends them to your own WordPress site.

How do I sign up?
  1. Create your account (name, email, password).
  2. Choose Instagram, Blog or Both, then approve the plan with PayPal or a card. Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial and nothing is charged today. "Both" asks for two approvals: the second plan is 20% off.
  3. Connect what you chose: Instagram (through Meta) and/or your WordPress site.
  4. Add your own AI key (Google Gemini, Claude or ChatGPT), or skip it and write your posts yourself.
  5. Set up your Brand DNA: how your brand sounds and looks. Everything FeedForge writes follows it.
What is Brand DNA?

A short description of your brand: tone of voice, words and topics to avoid, visual style, default hashtags and your website. FeedForge can draft it from your Instagram posts, your website, or brand documents and pictures you upload. Edit it any time under Brand DNA in the menu.

Plans and billing

What do the plans cost?

Instagram and Blog are separate plans. If you take both, the second one is 20% cheaper. Prices are in US dollars.

How does the free trial work?

Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial. PayPal saves your payment method but charges nothing until the trial ends. During the trial you can connect 1 Instagram account and 1 WordPress site. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing.

How do I cancel?

Open Settings → Plan & billing and choose Cancel next to the plan. Each plan (Instagram or Blog) cancels on its own. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. When nothing is left running, your workspace is kept for 14 days in case you come back, then deleted.

Where do I see my payments or change my card?

Payments run through PayPal. Sign in to PayPal and open Settings → Payments → Automatic payments to see FeedForge, its next payment and the card it uses.

A payment failed. What happens?

PayPal tries again. Until it succeeds, that plan is paused and FeedForge shows a payment problem in Settings → Plan & billing. Fix the card in PayPal, or choose the plan again there.

Instagram

Which Instagram accounts work?

Professional accounts: Business or Creator. A personal account can be switched for free in the Instagram app: Settings → Account type and tools → Switch to professional account. You connect by signing in with Meta; FeedForge never sees your Instagram password.

It says I must reconnect Instagram

Meta ended the saved login (password change, expired access or removed app). Press Reconnect with Meta. Scheduled posts for that account wait until it is connected again.

How many Instagram accounts can I add?

1 on Creator (and during any trial), up to 5 on Agency. Switch between them with the account menu at the top.

AI keys

Why do I need my own AI key?

FeedForge writes and designs with the AI of your choice using your key: Google Gemini, Claude (Anthropic) or ChatGPT (OpenAI). You stay in control, the AI company bills you directly, and FeedForge adds nothing on top. The key is stored encrypted and used only for your requests. It is optional: without it you write captions and text yourself, and everything else works.

Which AI should I choose?

Google Gemini is the free way to start: text fits in Google's free tier for most people. Claude and ChatGPT are paid per use on your own account (usually a few cents per post). Claude does not make pictures: with only a Claude key you upload your own photos, or add a Gemini or OpenAI key for pictures. In Settings → AI you can connect several keys and choose one for writing and one for pictures, and Fast or Best quality.

How do I get a key?

Google Gemini (free):

  1. Open aistudio.google.com/apikey and sign in with any Google account.
  2. Click Create API key.
  3. Copy the key (it starts with AIza) into Settings → AI → Google Gemini.

Claude: create a key at console.anthropic.com and add credit under Billing. ChatGPT: create a key at platform.openai.com and add credit under Billing (a ChatGPT Plus subscription does not include API use).

Does it cost anything? Why don't AI pictures work?

Text (trends, captions, articles, text on pictures) fits in Google's free tier for most people. Picture generation may need billing turned on for your key's project in Google AI Studio; Google then bills you directly for pictures. With OpenAI, pictures are billed per picture and OpenAI may ask you to verify your organization first. Use Settings → AI → Test pictures to check. You can always upload your own photos instead.

Posts and scheduling

What can I make?

Single-picture posts, carousels (2–10 slides), Reels (made from your slides or from your own video, with the text on top) and stories. Pick a trend, start from a page of your website, or start blank. The AI designs the text on each picture; tap the text on the picture to change it.

How does scheduling work?

Choose a day and a time; times are in 5-minute steps (for example 9:00, 9:05, 9:10). FeedForge publishes at that time; Instagram may take a minute or two to show it, Reels a bit longer. A scheduled post is locked: unschedule it to edit. Everything scheduled and published shows in the Calendar.

Can I use my posts on other platforms?

Yes. In a post or article press Post anywhere: download the pictures (with their text), the Reel video or the article, and copy a text made for TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, Threads and Reddit. You post them in those apps yourself.

How do I make ads?

Studio → Ads (or Make an ad in a post or article). FeedForge makes the ad picture in four sizes (square, 4:5, 9:16 and wide 1.91:1) with your brand's text on it, plus headlines, ad texts and a call to action. Download the set and upload it in Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads. Ads are included in every plan.

A post failed to publish

The Studio and the Calendar show the reason. The usual causes are an Instagram account that needs to be reconnected, a caption longer than 2,200 characters, or a carousel with fewer than 2 slides. Fix it and schedule or publish again.

Blog Studio and WordPress

What do I need?

A self-hosted WordPress site (WordPress 5.6 or newer) using https://, and a WordPress user who is an Editor or Administrator. No plugin is needed. WordPress.com sites are not supported yet.

How do I connect my WordPress site?
  1. Sign in to WordPress and open Users → Profile.
  2. Under Application Passwords, type FeedForge and click Add New Application Password.
  3. Copy the password WordPress shows (24 letters in groups of four).
  4. In FeedForge open Settings → WordPress sites and enter your site address, WordPress username and that password.

Your normal WordPress password does not work here. You can revoke the Application Password in the same place at any time.

WordPress won't connect
Draft, publish or schedule?

Draft (the default) saves the article in WordPress so you can check it there first. Publish now puts it live. Schedule hands it to WordPress with a time, and WordPress publishes it by itself, even if FeedForge is closed. Sending again updates the same post.

Your data

Who can see my content?

Only you. FeedForge publishes only what you choose. How data is handled is in the Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings → Plan & billing → Delete account and data and confirm with your password. Everything is deleted right away and your plans are cancelled. Posts already on Instagram or WordPress stay there. More: Delete your data.

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen choose Forgot password? and follow the link in the email.
